In this part, we are going to discuss some of the best tips to utilize in order to find affordable flights to any destination you want. Let’s get started, shall we?

First of all, always search for flights using dedicated search and comparison tools now easily available online. Flight comparison tools and fare aggregators can help you pull information from multiple airlines in a matter of seconds, allowing you to save a lot of time and money while still be able to find the most affordable flights to take.

Book early; airlines tend to offer better deals to customers who book their flights at least 6 months prior to flying. By booking early, you can find flights for as low as £1; this means you can save more than 80% off the regular airfare without sacrificing comfort or facilities.

If you are a regular traveler, it is also beneficial to sign up for airlines’ newsletters as well as join their frequent flyer programs. You can be the first to know about special offers and deals just by applying this simple tip.

For more tips on finding affordable flights, stay tuned for updates here on this site.

Step 1: Obtain a passport before you plan a trip to Vietnam. Bring your original birth certificate (not a copy), one other valid form of finding and two small passport-sized photos of yourself to your post office. Note that it can take 4 to 6 weeks to get your passport in the mail unless you pay a significant fee to rush the process.

Step 2: Develop a travel itinerary for your trip to Vietnam. Many tourists center their activities around the two main cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), and hold for travel between the cities in advance. You might be healthy to fly into one city and fly back home from the other, or even include Thailand, Hong Kong or China in your flight plans.

Step 3: Schedule a visit with your physician at least a month before you leave in order to get proper vaccinations, since you will need shots for yellow fever, hepatitis A and B and typhoid. While the risk for malaria is relatively low in the major cities, you might want to bring along malaria tablets if you’re going to be visiting rural areas. Check with the TDS website for latest vaccination stipulations (see Resources below).

Step 4: Contact an experienced and knowledgeable travel agent to help you plan a trip to Vietnam. Your agent should be healthy to help you find the ideal travel and accommodation packages, and to help make travel arrangements between destinations within Vietnam. You can also use online resources, such as Travelocity, to find the ideal deals on airfare and hotel rooms (see Resources below).

Step 5: Visit the website for the Vietnamese Embassy and hold for an application for a travel visa (see Resources below). You will need a valid passport and either a money order or traveler’s check prefabricated out to the Embassy of Vietnam. The cost of the visa will depend upon the length of your stay and the number of times that you will be entering and leaving the country.

Tips & WarningsSince there are no direct flights from the United Says to Vietnam, you will probably have to route your flight through other countries, such as Singapore, China, Hong Kong or Thailand.

Quiet yellow-sand beaches and historical sites may lure visitors to Con Dao but it’s the old tropical trees that protect them from the scorching sunshine in the archipelago off the Southern Province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

There are a number of cay bang trees which are over 100 years old and hang over Ton Duc Thang and other roads in Con Dao to provide respite from the heat for tourists, who ride past on their motorbikes or stroll around.

Strong winds and sunshine may be not be your idea of a nice break but these noticeable characteristics have turned out to contribute to shaping the trees into distinctive bonsais. The trees are spread out over two lanes of the seaside roads and they shield pedestrians taking a leisurely stroll on the pavement between the tree lines and mossy yellow walls of the old prisons, from the sun.

From tourists resorts, beyond the lines of tropical trees in the esplanade, you can witness the calm of the sea, with fishing boats bobbing on the water and the distant mountains.

At a little coffee shop called Con Son, you can sip a cup of coffee and rest after a long trek at the seaside or in the forests.

Breaths of wind blow in from the ocean sending red leaves of the tropical trees down onto your table as drops of coffee are slowly seeping through the filter, and whet traveler’s appetite for more adventure in the quiet town of Con Dao.

Inside and outside this small town there are other types of ancient trees including the banyan whose roots cover the ruins of historical sites. Underneath these roots contain untold stories about the bravery of revolutionary fighters who shed blood for the independence of Vietnam.

Beside that Vietnam Travel Depot also offer a tour to Con Dao Island: Con Dao Island Snorkeling and Trekking Package (3 Days 2 Nights)

Here are some available flights (Vietnam Airlines) from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao Island which have 4 times per day such as departure time at: 05.55AM, 9.30AM, 10.50AM, and 14.20PM.

And Vietnam Airlines also offer return flights from Con Dao Island to Ho Chi Minh City which departure time at: 7.35AM, 12.30PM, and 14.20PM.
